“Louisville is known world-wide as an environmental justice center.”
–Dr. Monica Unseld

Louisville has a local Air Pollution Control District created to hold industry to air pollution standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency. Reporting odor issues and voicing your concern at public hearings are important ways to push against environmental injustice.
Because what the government considers “legal” limits to air pollution is often not enough to protect local residents, getting involved with local environmental justice groups and sharing your story with the Air Justice team are crucial for bringing change.
If you smell it, tell it.
